New Milford Resident Named Army Photographer of the Year: Report
A resident has been named the Army's Military Photographer of the Year.

NEW MILFORD, CT — A New Milford man has been named the U.S. Army's Military Photographer of the Year, reports the Associated Press.
Sgt. Harley Jelis of New Milford was selected during the Army's Keith L. Ware Communications Award contest. Ware ran the Army's public affairs efforts in the 1960s.
Jelis is set to receive the award during an army-wide public affairs conference.
