New Milford Sand Castle Goes For State Record
Raise the drawbridge and sound the trumpets: A sand castle in progress on the beach at Candlewood Lake may be the largest in the state.
NEW MILFORD, CT — Two sculptors are scurrying to unveil the largest sand castle in Connecticut on Friday.
WTNH is reporting that Kevin Lane of New Milford and Dan Anderson of Destin, Florida, are just about down to their final parapet on the shores of Candlewood Lake.
