New Milford Seeks to Honor Purple Heart, Gold Star Recipients

NEW MILFORD, CT -- The Military Order of the Purple Heart, along with the town, are seeking Purple Heart recipients, Gold Star families and relatives of any resident who has received a Purple Heart from the U.S. Government, whether recently, in the past or posthumously.

The town is seeking to "honor all the men and women who have given so much for our freedom and way by designating New Milford as a 'Purple Heart Town,'" the mayor's office said in a release.
