New Milford Town Council Makes Decision on 4th of July Fireworks Funding: Report

NEW MILFORD, CT — A total of $10,000 was approved by the New Milford Town Council this week to fund the 4th of July fireworks celebration next summer, reports The News Times.
This year's event, organized by the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled for July 1 and will be completely paid for by the town's funding.
According to chamber Executive Director Denise Del Mastro, garnering donations for the event has become difficult in recent years.
