New Milford Votes Tonight on Road Repair

Residents will cast ballots and weight in on a $6 million bond issue to repair roads.

NEW MILFORD, CT --- Residents will vote tonight on a $6 million bond, the first drop in a $40 million bucket projected to repair New Milford roads. The bond will cover the initial engineering work and construction for two years. The long-term plan will be presented to the Town Council in May.

The town meeting is at 6 p.m. in the E. Paul Martin room at Town Hall. Public commentary before the vote is welcome.
