Obituary: Dr. Peter Tucker Bull, 67, of New Milford
Peter was known for his laid back demeanor, his love of animals and his quirky and often inappropriate sense of humor.

NEW MILFORD, CT -- Dr. Peter Tucker Bull of New Milford, passed away peacefully in his home on July 18, 2018 surrounded by his wife and children.
Peter was born December 30, 1950 in Boston, MA to the late George W. Bull and the late Nancy Marcus and was raised in Shirley, MA. Peter is survived by his wife of 37 years, Laura (Wyman) and children, Jordan (Sherri), Jameson (Samantha), Kelsey Arshad (Faizan) and Allison O'Brien (Francis). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Carter, Mason, Wyatt and Hailey, who lovingly refer to him as Sir Petie. He is also survived by his brother George (Dale) and many nieces and nephews.
Dr. Bull graduated from Mount Hermon School, UMass Amherst, and UMass Medical school. He spent his career as a physician in various settings including a private practice in New Milford, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, and MidState Medical Center. After retiring, his love of gardening led him to pursue a degree as a master gardener.

Above all else, Peter enjoyed spending time with his growing family, vacationing in Cape Cod, West Hill Pond, and Maine. Peter was known for his laid back demeanor, his love of animals and his quirky and often inappropriate sense of humor. He enjoyed life's simple pleasures: mowing the lawn while listening to 60's music, bird watching and getting coffee with friends.
Calling hours will take place on Sunday, July 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford. A funeral service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church in New Milford on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.To honor his memory, please perform random acts of kindness or make donations to the Animal Welfare Society, 8 Dodd Rd., New Milford, CT 06776.
