Shakesperience Productions, INC. Summer Acting Intensives at Hunt Hill Farm

Waterbury, CT – May 31, 2018 This summer, Shakesperience Productions, Inc., is delighted to offer their signature Acting Intensives in partnership with Hunt Hill Farm in New Milford, CT. From July 9 – 13, 9 AM – 3 PM, professional resident artists instruct students, grades 2 through 12, in the Shakesperience Approach. Students and instructors will collaborate to adapt Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and focuses on Shakespeare’s life and times, explores and expands on literary devices, and culminates in a final performance. Students learn to develop action and character through text within a strong, socially responsive ensemble that takes ownership of the work. Students show significant long-term behaviors, including literacy, public speaking, individual and group work ethic, and positive outlook, attitude and self-expression.
