Student Accused Of Setting Fire To New Milford HS Bathrooms: PD
An arrest has been made in connection with the Monday morning incidents.

NEW MILFORD, CT — A student has been arrested in connection with at least one of two fires set in bathrooms at New Milford High School Monday morning, according to police. Because the student is a juvenile their name has been released.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fires, the first of which was discovered at about 11:39 a.m. Students were temporarily evacuated from the school while the blazes were extinguished.
"Evidence at the scene led investigating officers to determine that the fire, in addition to a second fire located in another student lavatory, had been deliberately set," wrote New Milford police in a Facebook post. "This Agency's investigation led to the identification of a suspect and to the arrest of a juvenile student of the high school."
