Trained Police Dog Remains In Pound For Two Years
A stray who has been trained to be a police dog hasn't found a permanent home yet.

HARWINTON, CT — A stray dog, "Flash," who came into an animal shelter two years ago "very skinny and a mess" has been trained to be a police dog, according to The Middletown Press. Animal control officials said they immediately recognized this dog was different and capable of this training.
However, she has yet to find a permanent home for a variety of reasons. At one point there was a plan to send Flash to a police department in Texas, but those plans fell through.
