Ages 13+
Hone your technique this Fall and work to become a Triple Threat performer! The Triple Threat Series brings together the three disciplines of acting, singing, and dancing into a unified whole. The series will comprise of weekly classes in Ballet, Theatre Dance, Vocal Performance, and Acting/Improv with an emphasis to strengthen each of the elements equally to create a well-rounded Triple Threat performer. The Triple Threat classes prepare the students to meet the challenges of college auditions, school musicals, talent shows, and professional auditions.
All classes will be taught by highly regarded professionals in their field. Don’t miss out on this extraordinary learning opportunity!

*New Offering*

We are excited to announce the culminating event for our triple threat series this fall! On Nov. 11th, from 3 to 4:30pm, we will offer students a chance to perform materials learned in the series to industry professionals: Nora Brennan, Former Bway performer now casting agent; Joe Locarro, Former Broadway performer, now director/choreographer and film producer; and Tim Howard, Former Broadway Performer, now director and the head of the musical theatre BFA program at Western Connecticut State University. More panel members may be added! Offered in a mock audition format with constructive feedback from the panel, this workshop is offered to all area performers regardless of whether or not you are participating in the triple threat series workshops. There is a cap on the number of participants so register early to guarantee your place. There will be a live accompanist. Performers will be able to present a song, monologue, and there will be a short beginner dance combination as well! This is a rare opportunity to get feedback from supportive professionals and to make connections within the college and professional worlds. We are so excited to offer this amazing opportunity to our young area performers!

Nora Brennan CSA.Is a two-time ARTIOS Award winning Casting Director. Broadway: Children’s casting director for Billy Elliot, Matilda, The Audience w/Helen Mirren. Nora is resident casting director for Transport Group. Joe Locarro

Director, Producer, Actor Joe Locarro’s directing credits span theatre, film and television. PBS - Finding Billy, The Search for Billy Elliot, nominated for two NY EMMY AWARDS,PBS Series, Intelligence Squared Debates and Vine Talk, starring Stanley Tucci as well as five specials for PBS. His theatre directing credits include: Ragtime, Les Misérables, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunday in the Park with George, Pippin and Snoopy. He was also a guest teacher for the University of Michigan musical theater department.

On Broadway, he was in the original companies of Ragtime, The Goodbye Girl, Merlin and Paper Moon as well as Les Misérables (Enjolras), Cats (Munkustrap),Jesus Christ Superstar (Jesus) and First National Tour of West Side Story (Tony u/s).
