UPDATE: CT, NY State Police Called in to Assist at Crime Scene

NEW MILFORD, CT --- Connecticut and New York State police have been brought in to assist New Milford cops at a crime scene at Route 55 and Route 7 in New Milford, the News-Times has reported. Police have blocked off the intersection and asked people to avoid the area.

Dispatch reports say police are looking for a blue mini-van that may have a connection to the incident, and that medics were called in this morning to assist two gun shot victims near the intersection.

The condition of the victims and how the shooting happened wasn’t immediately available.
