UPDATE: Possible Shooting Near the Intersection of Routes 55 & 7

NEW MILFORD, CT --- The crime scene that police have been investigating near the intersection of Routes 55 and 7 this morning is an apparent shooting, the News-Times has reported. Four vehicles with New York state plates are at the crimes scene, one a black pickup truck with a smashed driver’s side window.

Police have transported some possible witnesses to the Gaylordsville firehouse where they are being interviewed.

Dispatch reports say police are looking for a blue mini-van that may have a connection to the incident, and that medics were called in this morning to assist two gun shot victims near the intersection.

The condition of the victims and how the shooting happened wasn't immediately available. The area is currently blocked of by two firetrucks.
