VFW to Hold Clam Bake in New Milford

NEW MILFORD, CT — The Andrew B. Mygatt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1672 in New Milford will hold its annual clambake Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event at the VFW hall on Avery Road will include horseshoes, cornhole, a raffle, food, music with a live band and food.

The clambake is one of the many fundraisers the VFW runs throughout the year. In the past these have included a sweetheart dance, a fall moon event, raffles and a country hoedown.
