Save the date for New Milford's biggest paint party, Saturday, June 11, and prepare to get splattered!

NEW MILFORD, CT — Village Center for the Arts is gearing up for another amazing day of throwing, splattering, spilling, dripping good fun.

Paint the People, an annual interactive art festival, allows participants to create artwork, listen to live bands and eat delicious food all while expressing themselves creatively. Past events have included painting vehicles, shooting paint-filled sling-shots onto huge canvases, body painting and much more.

The event was created by Village Center for the Arts owner Sharon Kaufman and is sponsored in part by Union Savings Bank with support from New Milford Commission on the Arts, the Department of Economic and Community Development, Connecticut Office of the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

Paint The People 2016 will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the John Pettibone School, 2 Pickett District Road, New Milford.
