Woman Seriously Injured in Salisbury Crash

NEW MILFORD, CT --- One woman was seriously injured in a two-car collision on Route 44 in Salisbury, according to state police.

The woman, Ann Noble, 95, from Lakeville, was driving a 2002 Ford Taurus westbound on Millerton Road when she collided with Cesar Delara, 31, from Paterson, NJ, driving a 2013 IHC vehicle, on Wednesday afternoon. Delara and his passenger, B. Rodriguez, 33, were uninjured.

Noble, whom the police report indicates was not wearing any seat or shoulder belt, was transported to Sharon Hospital and later Hartford Hospital by Life Star.

The investigation is continuing.
