Alleged Newtown Lobster Thief Nabbed

Jan. 14

• Earlisha Watson, 29, of Waterbury was charged with credit card theft by transfer and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny for a Nov. 1, 2015 incident.

Jan. 22

• Ricardo Ortiz, 26, of Milford was harged with possession of more than four ounces of marijuana after his vehicle was pulled over.
• Ian Gingelli, 24, of Stamford was charged with violation of probation, operating a vehicle with a suspended license and failure to have headlamps.
• Jordan Ashby, 22, of Newtown was charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny.

Jan. 23

• Angela Evertez, 41, of Newtown was charged with breach of peace after police got a report of a neighbor being threatened on Sugar Street.

Jan. 24

• Police arrested John Dobyan, 28, of Fairfield and charged him with issuing a bad check between $250 and $500. The original warrant stems from June 2015.

Jan. 26

• Stephen Wilkinson, 57, of Danbury was charged with seven counts of sixth-degree larceny after he was accused of stealing containers of lobster meat from Caraluzzi’s Supermarket in 2015.
