Allie-Brennan Appointed to State House Leadership Position
Allie-Brennan's District includes parts of Bethel, Danbury, Redding and Newtown.

NEWTOWN, CT — Second District State Representative-Elect Raghib Allie-Brennan has been named vice-chairman of the House Energy and Technology Committee. He will serve alongside State Representative David Arconti (HD-109) who has been named Committee Chairman.
The Energy and Technology Committee has jurisdiction over all matters relating to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, energy planning and activities, telecommunications, information systems and related technology.
In addition to his role as vice-chairman, Allie-Brennan has been appointed Assistant Majority Leader, a role which positions him as a key member of House leadership. He will also serve as a member of both the Public Safety & Security Committee and General Law Committee.

"I look forward to playing a key role in the development of Connecticut's energy priorities and advancing policies that benefit the 2nd District and all of Connecticut." When sworn in on January 9, State Representative Elect Allie-Brennan will be the youngest member serving in the Connecticut State House.
The Second District encompasses the towns of Bethel, Danbury, Redding and Newtown.
