NEWTOWN, CT — A full-day music festival featuring multiple bands, food trucks and a beer garden is set to return to Newtown next month.
The Fairfield Hills Music Festival will take place Saturday, May 16 at the historic Fairfield Hills campus, according to organizers.
The event will feature two stages and 10 bands, with a lineup that includes both national and regional acts alongside Connecticut performers.
Headlining the main stage is Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, known for a mix of soul, funk and blues. Other main stage performers include The Moonrise Cartel, The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow, Jake Kulak & The Modern Vandals and Bittersweet Descent.
A second stage will feature The Decker Bandits, Eddie Seville, Riley Cotton, D’Pew and The Flagpole Radio Band.
Organizers said attendees can also expect a beer garden, food trucks and a full day of live entertainment.
Gates are scheduled to open at 11:30 a.m., with the festival running through 9:30 p.m.
The event is hosted at the Fairfield Hills campus and supported by Kevin’s Community Center, along with several local sponsors.
