The new facility aims to attract professionals from across the Northeast with specialized educational programs.

NEWTOWN, CT — A new medical education center focused on aesthetics, hormone health and longevity medicine is set to open in Newtown later this month.

The NorthEast Aesthetic Training Center will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at 34 Church Hill Road, adjacent to the St. Rose of Lima campus. The event is open to the public.

According to the town, the center will provide hands-on training and continuing education for healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians and other qualified medical providers.

Educational offerings will focus on medical aesthetics, health and hormone optimization, andropause, perimenopause, menopause management and healthspan medicine.

Town Economic and Community Development Director John Voket said the center is expected to bring healthcare professionals to Newtown for training while supporting local businesses.

"The NorthEast Aesthetic Training Center will attract hundreds of aspiring or established health and wellness professionals who will patronize our businesses and restaurants — or may even consider relocating or setting up their own businesses here," Voket said.
