Police said the pedestrian was walking through the parking lot after dropping off her son when a black SUV approached. She told police she expected the driver to stop and began moving out of the vehicle's path when its front passenger side struck her right arm and right leg.

The driver immediately stopped, and the two exchanged information, according to the report. The pedestrian told police she was not injured and did not need medical attention but later reported the incident in case bruising or swelling developed.

The driver told police she had also been dropping off a child at the center and was making a left turn through the parking lot when sun glare obstructed her view on the passenger side. The front passenger side of her vehicle then struck the pedestrian, according to the report.

No enforcement action was taken because no injuries were reported at the time and the incident occurred on private property, police said.
