Newtown residents can sell unwanted gold and silver during a three-day fundraiser at C.H. Booth Library, according to the library's announcement. Every transaction will benefit the library.
The fundraiser runs Thursday, Nov. 12, from 1 to 7 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The final session is Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bob "The Gold Guy" will be on-site purchasing gold and silver jewelry, flatware and holloware in any condition. People can bring their pieces for an evaluation and receive a check on the spot if they accept the offer. Questions can be directed to bob@libertygoldct.com.
