Annual Seed-To-Plate Celebration Set For August 4 In Newtown

NEWTOWN, CT — Real Food CT will be holding its annual Seed-to-Plate local harvest celebration on August 4, from 5 to 9 p.m.

The dining experience features a series of small plates made with ingredients from the group's Partner farms, all prepared by local chefs. There will be live music as well.

The money raised funds the group's efforts in getting fresh and nutritious locally grown food to hunger relief organizations in the Newtown area, according to the RFCT website.

This year, the venue has shifted to NewSylum Brewing Company, 36 Keating Farms Avenue.
