Breach Of Peace Atop Newtown's Police Blotter Last Week

NEWTOWN, CT — A Newtown woman was charged with second-degree breach of peace after police say she got into a "physical altercation" with an employee from an insurance company.
Melissa Gregson, 54, of Papoose Hill Road, removed items from the insurance employee's vehicle, threw them to the ground, and struck the victim, according to police. The incident occurred at Gregson's home on June 12.
Gregson was released from custody on a written promise to appear before Danbury Superior Court on June 27
