Burglary Reported At Newtown Home, 3 Juveniles Charged: Police
Police said multiple individuals were found inside a Newtown residence after a reported break-in.
NEWTOWN, CT — Three juveniles are facing charges after a reported burglary at a home in Newtown, police said.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Boggs Hill Road around 8:35 p.m. on April 4 for a report of a possible burglary in progress, according to Newtown police.
When officers arrived, they located and detained three individuals inside the home, police said.

Following an on-scene investigation, the individuals — two 15-year-old girls and a 17-year-old boy — were charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief, according to police.
Police said the juveniles were released to the custody of their guardians and are scheduled to appear in juvenile court on April 8.
