BVNA To Host Flu Shot Clinic in Newtown
The Bethel Visiting Nurses Association will be bringing their "Say 'Boo' to the Flu" campaign to Newtown and neighboring towns.
NEWTOWN, CT — The Bethel Visiting Nurses Association will be bringing their "Say 'Boo' to the Flu" campaign to Newtown and neighboring towns in the coming weeks, as the flu season kicks into overdrive.
The BVNA will be hosting the flu shot clinic in Newtown at:
- Caraluzzi's Newtown Market, 5 Queen Street, on Fri., Sept. 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- NYA Sports & Fitness, 4 Primrose Street, on Mon., Oct. 1 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- Newtown Senior Center, 14 Riverside Road, Sandy Hook, on Tue. Oct. 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
No advance registration needed, and participants can also have their blood pressure checked.

Flu vaccines will be available for ages 6 months and older. Preservative-free, quadrivalent, inactivated flu vaccine and preservative free high-dose flu vaccine for ages 65 and older will be offered as supply allows.
Participants should bring their medical insurance card. BVNA will offer competitive pricing for participants who who do not have a participating insurance plan. There will be no charge for vaccines for children 4 years and younger.
