The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) will present  Souby Boski demonstrating gestural painting on Wednesday May 27th

at 1:30 pm at The Newtown Senior Center, 8 Simpson Street, Newtown, CT. The demonstration is open to the public and admission is free.

DEMO DESCRIPTION:

Looking for an impressionistic spontaneity in your work? Do you want to apply your paint in a more gestural, painterly manner? Want to stop overworking details? Attendees will learn tips on how to communicate visually with suggestions rather than trying to describe everything in precise detail. Working quickly, Souby will simplify the subject by using gestures, contrasts,  and color.
