SCAN Open Studio Painters

SCAN (the Society of Creative Arts in Newtown) announces their annual show of the Open Studio Painters. This is a group of dedicated painters who meet every Wednesday for open studio painting. 

As part of this year’s exhibit, we are honoring one of our most beloved artists, Lisa Willvonseder-Greto. Lisa was a talented artist who has been instrumental in every SCAN activity over more than 25 years. She was responsible for initiating the Open Studio Painters annual show. Sadly, she died in June of this year - too young and too vibrant to be gone - and we will miss her.

Their work and Lisa’s will be displayed at Art and Frame in Newtown, CT. The show runs from Wednesday July 29 to Saturday September 26.

There will be an artists reception on Saturday August 8 from 4 to 6pm
