In order to continue serving in public service and helping the residents of Newtown though such a role

Maintaining the quality of life in Newtown and the charm of this small town, while balancing the needs of the future and ensuring fiscal responsibility for our residents

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

My current elected position as Chairman of the Board of Finance and prior terms served; being born and raised in Newtown and understanding what really does matter to the citizens of this town, the ability to not convolute issues, and consistency over time when addressing issues that are presented without wavering

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Prior elected service on Board of Finance and appointment to the Conservation Committee. Twelve years as an owner/partner of an architecture/building/construction management company, as well as over 10 years experience as a civil litigator and transactional attorney practicing in construction litigation, bonding/surety disputes, insurance defense and representing military veterans.

All of this has enabled me to be concerned with fiscal responsibility, to embrace critical thinking while being objective and open to all viewpoints, as well as caring for the public and each citizen.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

As an elected official I work for all voters and citizens to ensure Newtown continues to maintain the charm and harmony that made us all want to live here.
