Obituary: Christopher Robert Etes, 36, of Sandy Hook
He was killed in a motor-vehicle accident on Route 34 in Derby early Tuesday morning.

NEWTOWN, CT --- Christopher Robert Etes, age 36, of Sandy Hook passed away unexpectedly as the result of a car accident on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
Born in Norwalk on June 5, 1981 he was the beloved son of Robert Etes of Hamden and Louise Etes Uva and her husband Vito of Sandy Hook. A graduate of Trumbull High School, Chris had later worked as a plumber for various local companies.
Chris was adventurous and loved life, living it to the fullest. He had a great sense of humor, always making people laugh over the little things. His greatest joy and pleasure was his children and spending time with them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his loving children, Kayla and Jax Etes and their mother, Eve Lisbin, all of Seymour, his son Brandon Kral of Florida, his sister, Tamara Gonza and her husband Sal of Milford, his aunt, Barbara McConnell and uncle, Robert of Grinnell, Iowa, nieces and nephew, Shannon, Kristia and Gavin, his cousins, Victoria and Mark Mason and several other cousins and extended family.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Vincent and Louise Vacca, his paternal grandparents, Harold and Audrea Etes, brother, Jack Etes and an aunt Marie Mason.

Friends may greet the family on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Health (www.nami.org).
