Cops Seek Pickup Truck Driver From Hit-And-Run Crash In Newtown

NEWTOWN, CT — Police are seeking the driver of a white Chevrolet pickup who struck another vehicle on Glen Road in Newtown on Sunday, and then drove away.

The crash occurred at about 5:15 p.m., and the truck, possibly a Silverado, is described as a having a dual rear axle.

It was traveling on Glen Road toward Southbury " when it sideswiped" a 2020 Porsche Macan, driven by 68-year-old Sandy Hook resident, which was moving in the opposite direction.
