Deadline Looming for Newtown Community Center Survey
The opinions from the survey will help commission members decide what services the community center will offer.
The clock is ticking if you haven’t yet responded to the Newtown Community Center on-line survey.
A posting on the Newtown town website from Kinga Walsh, of the Newtown Community Center Commission, said the ability to complete the five-minute survey ends at midnight Oct. 10.
The commission is seeking feedback from residents on how to best spend the General Electric gift in the creation of a center that serves the community.

The input, which can also be emailed to the commission, will give the body information on what the residents would like to see in the center.
Two remaining public forums will take place Oct. 13 and Oct. 17.
