If you've ever been a fan of Don Mattingly, Thursday could be your best chance to get an autograph of the Yankee great.

Sports writer Mike Shalin, author of the Mattingly biography, Donnie Baseball, is giving a talk at the and anyone who buys the book will be entered into a raffle for a copy autographed by Mattingly.

Shalin spent 22 years at the Boston Herald but before that covered the Yankees for the New York Post for two years.

In his book, Donnie Baseball, Shalin chronicles Mattingly's career, from his childhood in Evansville, IN to the Bronx and later to Los Angeles.

Mattingly, 50, manager for the Los Angeles Dodgers, spent his entire baseball playing career with the Yankees from 1982 to 1995.
