A frighteningly fun evening appropriate for the whole family, Housatonic Valley Waldorf School's annual Enchanted Halloween event will be held on October 29 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

The event's centerpiece, the Children's Halloween Lantern Walk, leads visitors through a candle-lit stroll through a series of fairytale skits performed by costumed characters (starting at 4:30 pm). Visitors can enjoy a shadow puppet show, visiting with a fortune teller, creating a life size hay-filled scarecrow, decorating a veggie head pumpkin, listening to a fire-lit story, and exploring an enchanted labyrinth maze. Stop in the Bittersweet café for witch's brew and spooky snacks. A mobile, wood fired pizza truck will be offering pizza made from organic and local seasonal ingredients.
