Just 4 Kids TagSale

Have your kids outgrown last year's fall and winter clothing?  Would you like to shop for this year’s clothing at bargain prices?

We have a simple solution! Donate your old and pick up “new” gently used items at the Newtown Youth and Family Services’ first semi-annual Just 4 Kids Tag Sale on Saturday, October 1st at Hawley School.  The event features clean, gently used children's items including fall and winter clothing, shoes, sports equipment, baby layette, furniture, toys, games, books, and more.  Sale hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a half price sale from 12 to 1 p.m. for select items.  All proceeds from the event will benefit the many programs offered by Newtown Youth and Family Services.

Items for donation may be dropped off at Newtown Savings Bank (Sand Hill Plaza), C.H. Booth Library, and Newtown Youth Academy on Monday, Sept. 26 - Wednesday, Sept. 28.  We request that all items be clean and in good condition.  Clothing and shoes should be bagged by gender and size; only fall and winter clothing will be accepted at this time.  Car seats and other infant equipment must be 5 years old or less. Please secure game boxes, puzzles etc. with tape or rubber bands; also ensure no missing pieces. No stuffed animals, war games/weapons, or Happy Meal toys, please.

Convenient pickup of larger items is available.  Just call Kaitlyn at 203-270-4335 to make pickup arrangements.

Volunteers are needed to help during the event on October 1, as well as for setup and cleanup. If interested, contact Layne Lescault at 203-270-6481 or lclesault@hotmail.com
