Newtown Historical Society Presents: An Evening with Dolly Madison

Carolyn Ivanoff, a well-known reconteur, will present an "Evening with Dolly Madison".  Carolyn will relate Dolly's role in the Presidency of James Madison and interesting information about her life such as her introduction of ice cream to American, Easter egg rolls on the White House lawn and her heroic role in the War of 1812.  We're sure you will be charmed by her tales of Dolly as her peers were back in the 19th century.
