Please join us on Monday, November 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Booth Library for a presentation on "The Dred Scott Decision". The program will be hosted by former Judge of Probate, Joseph Secole, as he tells the story of Dred Scott, a slave who sued his owner for his freedom and the implications of that decision. The Dred Scott decision was one of the very most important and controversial decisions the Supreme Court made in the nineteenth century. Refreshments to follow the conclusion of the program.
