Newtown Historical Society Presents: The History of American Barbershop Music

Have you ever wondered how Barbershop Quartets came about?  Was it really in a barber shop?  Did they begin in America? These questions and others will be answered and a variety of songs will be warbled by a quartet from the Danbury Mad Hatters.  The program will start at 7:30p.m at the Booth Library in the meeting room.  Refreshments to follow.
