Please join us on April 9 at 7:30 pm at the Booth Library for a special presentation by Lucianne Lavin, Director of Research & Collections at the Institute for American Indian Studies. She will describe the complex tribal societies of Western CT's indigenous communities just prior to contact with Europeans, the effect of European settlement, and their survival strategies. Select artifacts from the institute will be on display. Refreshment to follow the presentation.
