The Newtown PTA is hosting a nationally acclaimed digital awareness program on what every teenager and every parent should know about living in the digital age presented by Richard Guerry. He will talk about gaining a greater awareness of negative, irresponsible, and malicious digital behaviors – beyond the common issues of sexting, cyberbullying and sextortion – and describes methods to reduce the risks of your child becoming a victim of cyber-crime.
The same presentation will be offered to students during school hours.
