Attorney Gregory Smith will use his thirty-years' experience as teacher, parent and attorney to talk about the practical side of special education laws. He will give an outline of parents' basic rights, offer advice on exercising those rights in real life, discuss the impact of RTI and look ahead at changes to NCLB. Along the way he will be able to provide information and answer questions about actual situations parents are facing.
