Sticks and Stones Farm will hold an Open House from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, for anyone interested in learning about the upcoming Hoshin Tao Chi Kung program. The seven-class session will be held at the same time Wednesdays Sept. 15 through Nov. 3.
The cost for the introductory 14-hour course is $150 with a manual included.
The extensive program introduces various stretching, breathing and meditative techniques (guided meditation, moving meditation and energy work) that will increase one's ability to perceive and use chi.

Participants will learn to feel energy and auras, develop a good foundation for stretching and breathing techniques, learn meditation positions and experience many guided meditations to assist in developing their chi. Emphasis is placed on the base and second chakra.
The farm is located at 197 Huntingtown Rd. in Newtown.
