Student Council Dance at Newtown Middle

first Student Council dance for both seventh- and eighth-graders will take place 7-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1.

Tickets are $5 each and will be on sale in homerooms Tuesday-Thursday, Sept. 28-30. No tickets will be sold Friday morning  and students cannot purchase tickets at the dance.

The dress code for the dance is the same as it is for school days.

If a student purchases a ticket for the dance and is in school on Friday, he or she is expected to be at the dance; if not, parents will be called to make sure that the student is somewhere safe.

Parents must pick up their child promptly at the end of the dance. Dismissal is by the C-wing office (the door by the nurses' office). Do not drive down the left side of the school by the outside cafeteria doors; for safety reasons, no students will be dismissed out those back doors.
