Expect Delays: Roadwork on I-84, Wasserman Way in Newtown
Work is scheduled for the Thursday, Sunday and Monday overnights.
NEWTOWN, CT — The town has announced the following roadwork and recommended detours:
- Thursday, Aug. 23, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.: The I-84 Exit 11 eastbound off ramp will be closed for paving. It is recommended that residents use Exit 10.
- Sunday, Aug. 26, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.: Mile Hill and Wasserman Way will have alternating traffic due to paving.
- Monday, Aug. 27, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.: The I-84 Exit 11 main entrance ramp will be closed for paving, which will include eastbound ramp paving. It is recommended that residents use Exit 10.
