Fundraiser For Newtown Police Union Is Nov. 27 At BoostCycle
The event has raised close to $5,000 for the police department in the past three years.
NEWTOWN, CT — BoostCycle Indoor Cycling Studio is holding a Pedal for Purpose charity fundraiser for the Newtown Police Union on Nov. 27.
The fundraiser consists of a 60-minute cycling class; each rider is asked to make a $30 minimum cash donation to reserve a spot. All proceeds go to the NPD Union.
It is the fourth annual Pedal for Purpose, the cycling studio said on Facebook. The event has raised close to $5,000 for the police department in the past three years.

Reservations begin Nov. 13 and must be done in-person or by email. There will also be a raffle for several gift cards donated by local businesses, including Barnwood Grill, BD Provisions, Boost Bowls, and Newtown Nutrition.
