Grammy-Nominated Celtic Group Coming To Newtown
The Grammy-nominated Irish ensemble will perform at Edmond Town Hall as part of its 40th anniversary tour.
NEWTOWN, CT — Grammy-nominated Irish music ensemble Cherish the Ladies will perform at Edmond Town Hall in Newtown on Friday as part of the group's 40th anniversary tour.
The Celtic music group will take the stage at 6 p.m. on March 6 at the Main Street theater.
Cherish the Ladies was formed in 1985 to highlight women performing Irish traditional music. The ensemble has since released 18 albums and performed around the world.
