Happy 90th Birthday, Newtown Forest Association!
They are celebrating with a wine tasting event and you're invited!
The Newtown Forest Association is celebrating their 90th Anniversary with a wine tasting and fundraiser. They are inviting Newtowners to join them in celebrating 90 years of preserving open space in Newtown at their Sunset Wine Tasting.
Guests will enjoy a sampling of wines from Yankee Wine & Spirits and a beautiful view from the highest elevation in Newtown. Aquarian Caterers will provide seasonal selections for attendees to taste while listening to jazz played by the WVR Trio.
The event will take place on Sept. 6, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased by emailing NFAtreasurer@yahoo.com. The wine tasting will take place at their headquarters at Holcombe Hill Wildlife Preserve, 65 Great Hill Road, Newtown.
