Hawleyville Fire and Rescue Hosts Holiday Light Show
The show features over 40,000 lights that dance, shimmer, and shine to over 100 songs. The show runs through January 8 in Newtown.
From Hawleyville Vol. Fire & Rescue: Hawleyville Vol. Fire & Rescue is proud to announce the second year of our annual holiday light show. This year the show features over 40,000 lights that dance, shimmer, and shine to over 100 songs. A "Winter Village" an interactive walk-through display for children featuring life-size buildings, characters, and over-sized games.
The show runs daily starting Thanksgiving Evening until January 8th, from 5-10pm. Guests can park in our large parking lot and tune their radios to FM 92.9 to enjoy a dazzling show or exit their vehicles and walk through our "Winter Village". The light show is located at The Hawleyville Firehouse, 34 Hawleyville Road, Newtown, CT. The firehouse is accessible from I-84 Exit 9.
The public is invited to this free show which runs every night of the season. This show is excellent for audiences of all ages and our large parking lot makes it accessible for groups no matter the size. The Fire Department is seeking donations to the Fire Department which can be made in person in a secure mailbox or online on our website. The Fire Department supports Toys for Tots and is an official donation site, donations of unused toys will be accepted.

Hawleyville Vol. Fire & Rescue is a non-profit, all-volunteer fire department located in Newtown, CT. The department provides Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical coverage to Newtown 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. More information is available here.
