NEWTOWN, CT — A bank employee was issued an infraction for creating a public disturbance after he wrote "HELP" on fogged up glass, which prompted someone to call 911, police said.
Police responded to Wells Fargo Bank on Church Hill Road Jan. 12 around 8:44 a.m. Officers observed several people in the bank who appeared to be going about normal business.
Officers knocked on the locked main entrance door to gain attention of the bank manager. The manager told police that an employee wrote "HELP" as a joke to other employees.
