Hit-And-Run Driver Sought By Newtown Police
The driver, who was operating a Lexus IS 300, left the scene of a two-vehicle crash on July 23, according to police.
NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown police are looking for the driver of a "newer white Lexus IS 300" who left the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Church Hill Road near the Interstate 84 overpass near Exit 10 on July 23, according to authorities.
The crash occurred at about 9 a.m., and no injuries were reported.
Police said the hit-and-run driver was a young male, and after the crash, he continued in the Lexus "towards Sandy Hook Center and should have left front end damage."
