The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Keeping tax increases at a minimum over the next several years while keeping budgets for various departments within realistic needs/increases and continuing to maintain the infrastructure and capital improvement needs of the Town.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I am an incumbent, with two years experience on the Board. I spent the last election term working tirelessly with my fellow Board members to review, analyze, and provide oversight and accountability for the various issues and matters that were presented to the Board of Finance.

Accomplishments:

The past two years of decision making and work as an elected member of the Board of Finance. I have experience with respect to contract negotiations, budget proposals for all departments, and special appropriations made during a pre-COVID-19 and present COVID-19 era. I have an understanding of what the school system needs to further accomplish their goals in future of education and provide the essentials to the students. I pride myself on making well informed decisions that benefit the people of Newtown.
